05 RK Custom fob question
So my new to me bike just has me asking a fob question. Maybe I misunderstood how these work but I just drove all over today without a fob or key. I didnt realize it till I went to lock ignition with key. Is this normal or has previous owner done some voodoo magic? Bike starts and runs no fob. My wifes sporty has to have the fob to start? Do I need to enable the security with fob first?

Your 05 FOB uses a button to manually Arm/Disarm the Security system. You can leave it Disarmed and the Ign "unlocked".

I believe it was 2007 when HD started using the "Proximity" FOB
