There are several things that MAY cause what you describe...
If you used adjustable pushrods;
The pushrods could be adjusted wrong. Remedy- redo the pushrod adjustment, make sure you are on the base circle, and go for a .130" preload on the lifter.
Some adjustable PRs will contact the pushrod tubes, near the top. You will usually see the witness marks from the contact. Remedy- drill out the top of the tubes to 5/8" down 2" from the top. I don't have the tools (or skill) and had mine done by a local machine shop.
Other possible causes:
You could have a lifter going bad. Remedy- remove the lifters and inspect them for wear and make sure the rollers are functioning well.
The rocker arm bushings and/or shafts could be worn out of spec. Remedy- the Service manual tells how to measure the play and see if they are within spec.
Those are just a few things you could check....
