Quick shout out to Custom Dynamics customer service and warranty. One of the first things I added to my Ultra Limited in 2015 was the CD running lights/turn signal LED inserts. Last year when I traded for a Road Glide I moved them over to the new bike.
Earlier this week I noticed that some of the white LEDs were burnt out. I sent a photo to CD customer service. They asked for the model number off the back and informed me they were no longer available. But the very next sentence was telling me that would be replacing them with the latest model. No questions asked, no waffling on the lifetime warranty.
The new units came in today and they are even brighter!
You may find something similar or just as good but youll be hard pressed to find such top notch customer service. For me, thats worth a premium price for a premium product.
I don't have personal experience with them. But my buddy bought a LED taillight from them. Something went wrong with it and since he's less than 20 miles away from their facility, he rode over there. They apologized, told him wheel it inside. They gave him a tour of the building while they installed a replacement for him. My Sportster needs a brighter taillight and I'm planning to get one from CD.
I just had the same warranty experience with them when my Custom Dynamics TriBar LED light failed. I purchased it nearly 4 years ago. Called them Monday, sent pics/video as requested, and 5 days later (today) a new one is out for delivery.
It would seem that you and I handled it in the same manner - call them first and make a warranty claim, and let them do their thing. Unlike the window lickers here that have some weird need to ask if anyone else has had this problem before even contacting the vendor/manufacturer. WTF?
This is also my experience With Custom Dynamics. Which is why All my lights are CD, except for my front turn signals. They are going on my bike shortly
I have had a couple of dealings with CD and had the same positive experience! It's nice to deal with a place that absolutely, positively, without a doubt, no questions asked, stands by their products 100%

My thanks to Custom Dynamics as well!
I've said it before.... you certainly have a way with words...
