I didn't want a Road King, or an Electra Glide, If I did want one, that's what I would have bought. As for an Indian, back when I was also a snowmobiler I wouldn't ride a Polaris. I sure as hell aint gonna ride one in the summer. But I also hope they push Harley Davidson to be better and more innovative.

I like having the GPS for when I am in a city I am not familiar with. I could use my phone I guess, but I like the bigger screen. And I like listening to tunes when I ride. Good rock and roll will make a great ride even better. So all that useless electronic crapadula is really not all that useless to me. And as for my wife yapping in my ear, my wife is a biker, and she's a damned smart one too. She doesn't sit back there bitching, when she has something to say, it's worth listening to.

I'm still pissed that I have to spend $500+ to get my headset to connect to my bike. That aint gonna change.

And my new favorite word is crapadula.

Seriously, the whole point of a motorcycle is to get away from the bullshit not bring it with you.

Something else for ya to be pissed about, it’s my understanding that you have to buy the Harley branded sena headsets to be able to hear your music in stereo using the WHIM.

Love the bike and as far as buying a small house, well in my area it wouldn't buy an outhouse,I got a great deal on it.
Even after all the add ons (many aftermarket) and extended warranty and sales tax I came in about $21K.
Ya’all haven’t priced small fishing boats lately. For the price of a new Harley, you can just get the motor. Low volume toys are expensive.

Spending money and time to get my bikes right used to bug me. Then I realized that I enjoy the mod process almost as much as the ride.

If Harley included a generic type wireless interface to the bike, 1/2 of you on here would bitch about that…just like you/do about ABS, and RDS.

you're going to have to spend a ton of cash to get it the way you like it too...No you spend ton of money to make it ride the way it is supposed to in the first place. I mean seriously $40k for a bike and you have to spend another couple grand for suspension...even before you roll off the lot...LOL

Have I learned anything? Am I going to but another Harley Davidson next time I'm shopping for a bike? Hell yes I am! I may complain a lot, but that's just because I'm old and crotchety. I love my Harley Davidsons and will until they put me in the ground. Along with my motorcycle of course........No wonder Harley doesn't have to up their game, they have one of the best marketing strategy in the business and had no serious competition for many decades. I really hope Indian keeps growing, ultimately it's going to push Harley to get better, be more competitive.

I may be wrong but this is my observation after riding other makes. I came to Harley because of how engine resonated with me and Harley touring was the only make with aftermarket reverse available.
Dude, when are you going to trade that thing in for another brand? Holy cow you hate that bike and the company
