ken,
first id jack up the bike and check to see if either brake is draging, make sure the wheel spins fairly free. if thats ok check the tire to make sure there is no cupping. if there is it will upset the bike at low speed. if both them are ok then id check side play of the hub on the axle. and thats good the last thing i could think of would be bearings. hope it helps and maybe someone else has some ideas. good luck and let us know what you find!
I had (and have) the same issue.. ended up swapping the front tire but no fix.
I think it's a neck bearing adjustment possibly.. When I do my 5000 service, I'll be checking it on the new lift.
Had it at the dealer and those guys either couldn't detect what I was talking about or didn't have a clue as to the cause or fix.
Stated they checked the alignment (stated they did).
Had 'em swap out the front tire and I left.
Just been living with it.
Bike's only got 4500 on it.. strange.
The ONLY thing I can think of is the neck bearing.. Either time for grease or an adjustment maybe.
