Default Fairing whistle on Road Glide

I recently bought a 2023 Road Glide Limited. Traded my 2017 Road Glide Ultra for it. I notice when I'm driving between about 30 to 40 mph, I get a whistling sound coming from the fairing. Very irritating! I never had that problem with my 2017. Was wondering if anybody else is having this issue and if there's a fix for it.

2022 RG and my right duct whistles 45-60. I'll be dammed if I can figure out what's causing it.

Default Ride it

My 2020 did similar, one asshat at dealership said just turn up radio. I looked at windshield as that seemed where it was coming from there. I just kept riding and maybe things seated? I also did a thorough cleaning and hand waxed the bike. It’s gone. Even after changing windshield about a year afterwards.

FWIW, I never hear things unless I read someone saying this or that, usually riding, my thoughts are elsewhere. My SA is on for more important things than whistles or engine noises. It’s a machine. Oh and I play music but not always. I hear that. My .02

There is a gap between the headlight and the lower front edge of the fairing where the two meet. I put weatherstripping there to seal the gap and the whistle is gone.

Use painters tape to isolate where it's coming from. Do one section at a time, ie around headlight, bring it for a ride. Fixed? No, remove tape and move on to the next area.

I had this problem a couple of years ago and it drove me bat$hit crazy. The source of the whistle is from the inner fairing (the dash). It's removable and doesn't always snap squarely into place. If you stand in front of your bike and slide your hand inside of the vent beneath the windshield, it should feel smooth...if you feel any unevenness in the transition between the outer fairing and the inner fairing dash, you've found the source of your whistle. To fix, you'll need to remove and reseat the inner fairing dash, ensuring it snaps firmly into place and feels smooth when you run your hand over it. Voila, you've solved your whistling problem!
