Default Accessory plug and Kuryakyn speakers question

2012 Road King, 4 prong accessory plug, along with the Y extension/splitter. One side already powering small lighted chrome luggage rack. I want to use the other side of the splitter to power the Kuryakyn speaker pods and Bluetooth controller.

4 wires are red, black, green, and blue. When I test the red and black wires I get 12 volts with the engine running and left nacelle switch on. When I connect the red and black from the pods and Bluetooth controller they won’t power up and the voltage is only 8. When I connect directly to the battery the pods and Bluetooth power up fine. I’m assuming the voltage drop is the issue but why is it happening?

Also, the pods and Bluetooth controller each have wires that should be connected to the accessory wire on the bike. Question is if I even need to connect it if I can use the Nacelle switch to power up and down?

Not sure if I’m doing this the correct or simplest way, but I would really like it to power up and down with the bike’s ignition.

Attached are the wiring instructions for the speakers.

I have no idea about your speakers but I can tell you that the orange wire with a white stripe on your bike is a switched power supply for you. Headlight on =power, headlight off=no juice.

Is the orange and white wire located behind the headlight or part of the under seat harness? Not part of the accessory plug because it’s red, black, blue, green.

Yes, about 6'' behind the headlight plug, it will be in a loom with a black wire ( negative ) and they will have blade type connectors on them. If you look around under your seat close to frame rails you will see the orange with white wire , it is not part of a connector. I have t-tapped into them perfect results.
