I just a 5 buck soft sided cooler from Walmart. Add a couple of those blue ice packs and you've got cold drinks for the day.

The one from Harley is for water and soda only! That's all they list in the discription so I guess it won't work for beer.

I use the $5.00 Trader Joe's cooler bag. It works great!

PLUS ONE !!! I like the slanted one because it still leaves room in the saddle bag for other stuff. It holds about 10 or 12 cans. In Florida, I start off with cold cans and and end with cold. I have only used the blue ice, I have not used ice so I can't say if the bag is water proof. One of the better "over price" stuff Harley sells.... LOL

Be Safe JIM

I have the cooler bag. Its handy but not that handy. Usually if i want a cool drink i stop at a store and get one out of the cooler.

my average time for stuff to stay cool was about 6 hours, in the saddlebag over the exhaust pipe. After that, it was questionable.

I have the slanted one - it is kind of awkward to get much into it - the insulation is bulky. But it does work well for a day long ride. You can't get a 12 pack in there with ice blocks, though. 8 or 9 is all that fits. Joe

They came out with a larger slanted bag. I saw the smaller one and when I went to purchase it I saw the big one and got that. It holds a six pack and 4 16 oz. water bottles along with a whole 8 lb. ice bag. I rode all day in the middle of summer and still had some ice at that night. The water from the melted ice did not leak out even when removing it from the saddle bag. This bag is a lot less bulky in the insulation. It was a good thing to blow some chrome cash on so it was really free.
