"Back in the day" some guys used to drill holes in the bottom of their fiberglass bags and fill the bags up with ice and beer.
How's that sound for a cooler? LOLOL..
BACK IN THE DAY, buddy an I picked up a 24 pack, 10lbs of ice and I tossed it in the tourpak of my 76 Shovel. Rode 30 miles up to the lake, pigtailed turn off of the hyway and around under the bridge, bike was leaned over, 10lbs of slosh AND 24 cans, chased the bike across two lanes! we stopped right there and emptied all that before traveling on. Glad I gave that all up!
I use my H-D slanted one a lot in the summer a lot when riding. You can put drinks, cold cuts, etc., in there and have a great picnic. I also use it when bringing ice cream / Popsicles home on my bike from the grocery stores.
i have one that i bought at wally world for $7 and it fits perfectly. i could fit 16 cokes in it. i use camel bak bottles and i can fit 4 of them plus the bottle formed blue ice things in between. after 3 days they were still ice cold! cooler is rectangle but i can fit a jacket or something of that size behind it and the same in font of it.
