If they really even bother to look for them. If caught not much of anything will be done. Just how it is now. Stealing is not a crime any more.
Facts, Police won't care, It's an Insurance issue and they won't dedicate man power to find your toy, Not to be an A$$ but HD Thieves know what they are looking for, and to leave a newer CVO for for a 2010 Ultra leads me to believe these were clowns taking advantage of an opportunity .

I can't speak to every agency, but where I'm at, we look for them, find them, and jail the SOB that did it. My last case was just this. I found the vehicle, the SOB that stole it, got him, his GF and two other vehicles were recovered as well.
But, yeah, thieves suck, and in big cities, they get away with it. I wish we could hang pedos and leave them hanging as a warning to others, but those days are gone.
I for one would not want to get a stolen bike back.
I agree!! I had a customized '66 Chevy Shortbed Stepside stolen and stripped. Got it back the next day. Tried to put it back together again, but it just didn't even feel like it was my truck anymore. Like it had been molested. Traded it to a guy who took good care of it tho........
