Friend bought a 96 Standard and is looking to install a sissy bar with a back pad.
Anyone know who makes this ? Can not find one that fits, only 97 and newer is listed. Thanks .
From looking at a 95 accessories catalog choices are limited. It looks like all backrests mount to the FLHT four channel luggage rack 53405-87B, if they're not on a tour-pak.
52548-87B for pillow look passenger backrest pad & 52587-94 Road King pillow-look passenger backrest pad.
Hope this helps.
Yes it will help him. I will pass this on.
Not much out there for these bikes. Chinese crap on E-Bay, but we all know how that goes. Hit or miss with the fit. Thanks for the help !
If I recall correctly the later model accessories will fit by adding longer bolts and spacers. I did this on my buddies '96 years ago. You should be able to upgrade to the quick release detachable mounts as well.
