I recently purchased a set of Rush 2.0 slip ons for my SG. Since they are merely slip on's most of the exhaust gases are coming out of the right side of the bike. My issue if the slip on is already beginning to discolor with 1000 miles on the bike. While I installed the slip ons I also installed a AN BS and SERT. I used the canned map #78 from the SERT for a 96" motor with ac and free flowing exhaust.
Has anyone else had an issue similiar to this with their Rush pipes? There was no instructions / literature with the pipes when I bought them and they were in a sealed box. If you have had this issue has Rush done anything for you?
Just read this on Rush's website " Blueing and/or discoloration is not covered under warranty, it is a result of improper tuning,
cam timing, engine timing, jetting, overheating etc. It is not caused by defective manufacturing.
