Default Hydrolic clutch users?
Just got me a 2017 FLHXS last week. Noticed the difference with the hydraulic clutch right away. Getting adjusted to it pretty quickly. Do you guys leave clutch lever out almost all the way sitting at lights? The friction point is way out there, seems like it wouldn't hurt. Any other ideas to make the transition easier?

Once you’ve fully separated the clutch discs, more separation is superfluous.

I put a Muller clutch slave in to change the friction point and make the pull easier.

Same here. Along with reduced reach levers.

Kind of easier to leave clutch lever out most of the way instead of clamping down it. The pull isn't to bad/hard but kind of nice leaving lever out so friction point is close. I may look into a mod some day but just got the bike.

https://softbrake.com/reduced-reach-...clutch-levers/ Just installed on of these reduced reach clutch levers. Made a world of difference in clutch pull comfort. May end up changing to the Rekluse slave cylinder in the future.

They work fine in my case. I have a Rekluse clutch slave cylinder and a Softbrake reduced reach lever and they work great together. YMMV...
