I've been fighting for 2 hours to put the r/s control covers back together. I replaced the ***** with chrome ones and now I can get the 2 covers screwed together. the wiring seems to keeping the 2 halves apart? any help anyone.

 

the directions should have a picture showing how to lay the wires so it fits, if not the manual should have that. Don't know if that helps.
