i have a 2011 Roadglide. the abs ring broke. went to Ronnie's microfiche for part number (40614-08, it says).
ordered it , it came. doesn't fit.
this part is thinner than the one originally on the bike. the one i'm taking off is wider (appearing to be a wheel spacer in addition to abs ring , all in one piece.
after looking at earlier years parts, THAT is the part i need. it is listed 2008 and previous.
has any other 2011 roadglde owners run into this problem ??
i wish it were that easy. the one i need is the sensor with a wide body that doubles as a spacer. i believe i have found an exact replacement but it says it fits softails for 2011. i ordered one anyway with my fingers crossed.
while waiting, i've reinstalled the damaged abs sensor which acts as an axle spacer and plan on riding it that way till the other sensor comes in the mail. and i have other harleys to ride anyway.
The 08 on the end of the part number refers to the oldest model year that part was used. Your 11 uses the same part, I suspect a 2023 touring bike uses the same one as well.
I'm happy to see the are aftermarket offerings for this part so we're not forced into a dealer visit.
