I'm buying new cables, so finally going from 12s to 14s. I'm a whole 5'9" and skinny. I'm not looking for any gangster looking ****, just a simple set of 14's that has a comfortable grip angle. Does anyone have a direction to point me in? I know it's all preference, but at least it will give me a starting point. I can measure the width and pull back on my 12s and probably find something that works, but for now, ideas?
I'll check them out. I'm getting a new seat too, so 13's in combination with the new seat profile might get me where I want to be and my cables should take an extra inch fine. Brake cable's still getting replaced, but it still simplifies things.

Another vote for KST Kustoms. I have their 12" Pioneer bars in chrome. They are one style of their Vanguard Series bars (for Road Glide & Road King) which are adjustable. The left & right uprights are adjustable to get the perfect wrist angle required. Check them out.

id pretty much settled on a set of bars last night, but I absolutely will. These might be better. Thank you
Fat bagger Inc, 14 hooked apes 1 1/4. You will need to lengthen cables. They sell them pre-wired and different kits to make the job easier if thats what you want to do. I had dealer install them and saved me on some labor with pre wired. Corners on these bars are machined out of solid billet metal. No welds with slag in them or rough edges inside the bars to rub on your cables. Do your homework. 😉
Regardless of height, make sure you are comfortable with the tip-to-tip dimension on the bars. Put a set of Harley 'mini-apes' on my Ultra. Waay to wide. I realzied it was stupid to ride with them.

that's my biggest concern. My 12s fit me perfectly. I do want the added couple of inches, but ideally I want the same width and pullback. It sort of works out though. In theory, if i measure what i have and the manufacturer doesnt lie too much i should be close enough
