Empty red connector

On the left side of my 2021 RK under the side cover. Anyone know what this unused red connector is for?

Techs use it to look at all the electronic innards on the bike...ECM, BCM, ABS, etc.

Also used to tune a bike if you have a FuelPak, PowerVision, etc.

Both previous answers are correct.

H-D makes a patch cable that plugs into that connector, the other end plugs into the USB port on a computer. With the correct program on the computer, the Bikes ECM can be accessed for tuning, diagnostics, etc.

I have the patch cable, program, and the SE Super Tuner Pro module needed to communicate/tune/monitor what is going on with the ECM.

Keep that connector covered and clean.
