Default Mysterious red wire...

Bike's a 2004 FLSTCI, Found this red wire and connector under my seat tucked away. Does anyone have any idea what it could be or might have been used for?

Looks like a positive tap for some accessory or other. Any power at the connector? Can you trace it to termination?

It's the B+ connector (not to be confused with the accessory plug). It's always hot but needs a ground; it's part of the bike's wring harness. Bear this in mind, it is not fused except for the Maxi-Fuse,

If I remember right, around those years there was a red wire in that area for add on tachs. Had em on my Sportster, Deuce and RK.
