I'm not sure why you would want to do that. Our '06 touring modelsdon't have any of the same problems as the '07 bikes with their comp. or tranny issues. We don't need the IDS to mask any problem since we don't have the same setup. I was just wondering.
Hey oldfartjc
Just wondering myself, always looking for my scoot to be a bit quiter & a bit smoother.( the quiter the motor the more I can hear the note ). Although it seems that it is not to be, ahwell such is life.

All wheels for '07 bikes have earlier part numbers--e.g. my '07 SG has an "-06A" suffix, so I assume it'll fit an '07 or any other FLH with a 1" axle. Assuming the bolt pattern is the same the problem is that the pulley is 66T. You should have a 70T pulley on your bike, so if it did fit you would be "geared up" about 6%, if I'm figuring correctly. Thus if you're turning 2500 at 60 mph, the pulley change would make it 2350 or thereabouts. To get it back to normal you'd have to change the gearing somewhere else, like the front pulley. That would be a pain to swap out.
