Default Help me identify this bracket

I found this bracket among a bag of parts that came with my new to me 1999 Road King but I cannot figure out where it belongs on the bike.
Does it in fact belong on the bike somewhere or is it perhaps just something thrown in the bag of parts?

Thought maybe some kind of fender bracket but it doesn't look like anything on the schematics.

Thanks in advance

You can always go here:

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...?aribrand=HDM#

Go through each diagram to see what looks familiar. If nothing matches, could be an aftermarket or fabricated by a previous owner

There's no identifying part number on it?
If you see a number on the part, Google the number.

No part number on it at all.

I could be wrong, and am usually, but wanted to throw this out there. Harley made sidecars back then, so might be a part for that.

But then again, if your King is running good and nothing is falling apart, then I say your good.

I strongly suspect a rear lower fender bracket. I've had 7 Road Kings from 1994 up

Good eye Gunnysgt......

It could be the Saddlebag to fender support bracket with the tab missing, or an aftermarket equivalent...

OP, look at #29 in parts pic...
