When I bought my bike it came with a windshield light bar (that I cannot find online anywhere) but whoever installed it left a big hole in the fairing. The light bar is no longer working and the new ones online don't seem as wide (to cover the existing hole).
I need some ideas on what to do here...a regular windshield trim won't cover the hole. I don't want to pay to have it filled and repainted.
Don't think that will cover the hole...the one that come with the bike is extremely wide...it dropped down further than the standard coverage area of the windshield trim.
I tried...but the backing was glued shut...once I removed all the glue, the entire assembly feel apart...reflector lights/covers etc...pretty much a one time use.
How bought a torx button head bolt with an acorn nut behind. Get it in SS matt and just hit it with flat back rattle can paint. Worst case balance it with another.
Only you will know because balanced and symmetrical, it will look like it belongs with all the other fasteners holding these complex machines together.
However, it appears centered. I am not sure is that how it will look in the second shot? If so, need more fix then the hole
