I have a 2022 ultra limited with Apple play. I do not have a WHIM. I have wired headsets, a Aokus Apple play jumper, Cplay2air car play adapter and an iPhone 10. What kind of problems can I expect from Apple play and my intercom system?

Maybe none. You don't need the jumper if you use a wired headset.

As far as the wireless CarPlay adapter, it may work. I bought a different one, and although it worked once, it caused a howling in the intercom.

I've since ditched wireless CarPlay and bought a WHIM and two HD-branded Sena 50s headsets. Life is good.

Thanks for the info. I’ve already tried the wireless Sena 10S route. The volume on the headset was loud enough for me. I had a couple Sena Freewire that I used in place of the WHIM. I ditched it and went back to wires.

I think you may have issue when using your wired headsets when you have the jumper installed... The jumper is there to "trick" the bike into thinking you have a headset plugged in, if you're using a wired headset you do not need the jumper, and it will all work together with your wireless module. I do not use the jumper (I have the ability to do the old software hack) but otherwise the same setup as you. I would think you'd basically have an open mic issue when you plug your headsets in while you have the jumper in place, but that is just a guess because I haven't actually used a jumper.

If you do have an issue, try this "plug jumper", then its easy to take out for those times that you do want to use a headset.

I don’t believe that you can use the jumper and the wired together. Doesn’t the wiring harness for the comms plug into the same plug as the jumper would?
