I have had two iPhones replaced due to the cameras losing there stabilization, I used a ram mount. I don't believe the phones were damaged on my FLHTCU or the 1948 FL, I believe one or all of my vintage British twins killed them. At highway speeds my 48 Pan is smooth as a Rolls Royce when compared to my 66 BSA Lighting or 67 Bonneville .
RAM X-grip with ram snap link tough claw mount. Too be fair I was replacing the X-grip rubber caps at least monthly due to wear from the paint shaker like motion the brit-bikes were producing on the phone.
I wish Tacform had a fairing mount. I like the phone front and center.
Me too.. I had my phone mounted on fairing, left side. The weight of the mount and phone destroyed the plastic bolt mount in the inner fairing. I wanted to get Ciro mount that goes in center bolt of the fairing but after this I'm reluctant.
Freakin cell phones are a social scourge! Put the silly *** thing in your pocket, ride your bike and enjoy the world passing you by!
Don't read this, I'd hate to be responsible for your head exploding. I have a heated jacket liner for riding when it's cold out. I have an app on my phone to adjust the temperature for it, so I like my phone on my bars this time of year. Sometimes I put my phone in my saddle bag, and I have a wireless CarPlay adapter for those times. I also have about $3k invested in my stereo, and enjoy rollin' with tunes that are in my iPhone. I also like the iPhone GPS, the ability to send and receive text messages, and I even talk on the phone while riding. It does not suck to be me, in fact it's good to be me. 😘
