Everyone has their favorite and say theirs is the best. Here’s mine. I’ve used it with my iPhone 6S, 8 Plus and 13 Pro Max. None of them had issues with vibration and they haven’t flown off. No control interference.

A buddy has the Rokform mount for his phone. It's all metal and has held up well in the 8 years he's had it. You can get their phone case or they also have an adaptor if you have your own..

I have this Techmount for my GPS, which I use 90% of the time on my King. The ball mount is the same as the ones for the Garmin, which is what I use. The gripper is for the phone and is similar to the Tackform mentioned above. One downside on the gripper is its plastic and the grippers are spring loaded. Also if you have buttons where the grippers grip the phone you're SOL.

Another option if you want it mounted on the fairing is this by Ciro3D.

I'm happy with the Techmount since it"s mainly used for the GPS, but if I had to choose one for the phone, probably the Rokform or QuadLock. They both have adaptors if you have your own case and they reduce the vibrations.

Are you less confused now that every type and brand of phone mount has been recommended? 🤣

Me being the cheapskate that I am, I use one designed for a bicycle. Got it at Wally-World. I don't use it for my "real" phone. I use it for an old phone I only use as a MP3 player. For podcasts. I have never had a phone fly off (yet).

I use the Harley universal phone mount.. It consists of a mounting kit.. https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...unt/p/76001340

And the holder itself.. https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...ier/p/76001341

They make an anti-vibration adapter for the mount, but I've never seen a need to use one. . It works just as well as most of the other options out there.. The only difference is that it's more expensive.

They all probably work including the $20 ones, but you think you are getting for $20 probably/ Ha. Maybe I could have got used to it, I really didn't try, but I just didn't like the ciro infront on my controls. It did seem like it locked good, which is why I tried it.
