Sena Headset Issue
I have a HD branded Sena 50S that is blue-toothed to the motorcycle with headset installed in modular helmet.
When riding I can hear a momentary high pitched hum out of the right ear speaker when the brakes are applied. The hum lasts only a second and then is gone. A phone does not need to be connected to the bike,.
Most noticeable when the front brake is applied with some force. Does not happen when the bike is stationary in neutral. Bike must be in gear. I have noticed that when stationary but in gear the "hum" seems to heard around the time the hill hold light comes on. WHen moving hill hold does not need to be engaged.
Coincidentally, I have a Honda goldwing that I use the same helmet and SENA and there is no "hum". I have an idea of what could be going on but want to hear from other fellow riders.

To clarify, when you say the headset is Bluetooth connected to the radio unit. Did you make the connection from within the WHIM menu choice on the radio? Some people have reported issues when they try to use the Bluetooth menu item and connect the headset. Also the headset should not be connected to the radio and a cell phone at the same time. This will confuse which device tries to answer a call. Connect the headset to the radio and the radio to the phone is the preferred method. Just a few thoughts to check.
