Apparently not right now... this has been a sore point for many of us. I also have a Scala G4, which I really like, but have the same issue.

From my understanding (from other sources much smarter than myself) HD (or rather, Harmon-Kardon) will need to update the units with the HSP headset profile capability, which allows connectivity to bluetooth headsets for mics and speakers.

I hope they have this in store for future firmware upgrades, but wouldn't hold my breath... they currently have to sell wired HD headsets for full functionality, so that would mean a loss in sales of those headsets, but who knows, we all may get pleasantly surprised haha.

What he said. Evidently Harley did this on purpose. Will they correct it, only time will tell.

According to the dealer, the MoCo should be releasing a BT headset in the next year. I had to buy the half/full face wired headset for my helmet. It's basically a Chatterbox unit. It works okay, I just don't like the extension cord.

I sure hope they get this one figured out too. I would like to have a wireless headset for intercom and music, and have thought about the Sena, but I'm afraid if I bought one H-D would come up with something fully integrated. I'm not interested in a bunch of wires on my SGS.

I'm guessing we have to wait until there is an ample supply of wireless headsets with Bar&Shield logos on them...

Except when you buy a Limited, and used to be ultra, not sure on that one....

They give you one for free in the saddlebag.

There is of course this doink-*** work around:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...t-headset.html

Or the headset tucked under the fairing work around:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...elmet-mod.html

Both suck if you ask me...

This is my only complaint about the Boom System. I don't have the unreasonable expectation that this all in one factory system would be better or even as good as the best Garmin unit like so many people complain about but having a wireless headset is something that HD should solve soon. I would trade my bike for the first manufacturer that does do offer it with an in dash GPS system.

If all you want is the Boom audio into your Bluetooth headset you can attach the Sena SM10, http://www.sena.com/product/adapters/sm10/ . This will allow you to get stereo from your Boom to your headset. It will NOT allow you to use the microphone for the CB so it's only a partial solution.

In theory it could be mounted in the fairing, hard wired for power, relocate the on/off button to the dash (might not be required as the power switch looks to be a rocker) and connected into the Boom with this:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/new-r...elmet-mod.html

This should allow you to select the headset output from the Boom settings, connect via BT to the SM10 and receive the audio into your helmet. If you add the "in dash" microphone from the link above then you would have stereo into your headset and a microphone on the dash for the CB/voice commands.

I'm waiting to clarify one more piece before I order this myself. But I think this will be my next project.

The Sena SR10 is a similar unit with a microphone but it is mono output. According to my discussions with Sena the microphone pass thru doesn't work with the Harley and even if it did it would require using both the factory PTT button and the SR10 PTT button.
