Oh, I have no intention of carrying a belt repair kit onboard, nor repairing a belt on the side of the road. I was just curious to see the one Rounders has on hand.
I can't speak for/like Rounders, but I can provide some information in regards to the emergency belt previously offered by Harley-Davidson.
The Emergency Drive Belt had the following warnings:
1. The approximate life expectancy of the belt is only 200 miles (322 kilometers).
2. Check belt every 50 miles.

They were meant to get you off road. I met guy in Alaska using it, and he was going to keep going to US. What happened I can't say. I am not sure if he passed a dealer. If not kinda screwed. What do you do? Hundreds of miles either way.
If it failed for good you would have to get a truck$$$$. But to stop and get towed to dealer $$$$#

Today, HOG membership provides you towing to the nearest HD dealer. So the cost is $0. In the past, you would have had to invest in the cost of the HOG roadside assistance (worth the investment if traveling to Alaska), and you would be covered.

Check the fine print for Yukon. Are you covered Canada and Alaska? Asking cause I don't know.
I have used AAA, and you can still be waiting hours. You call off time I imagine even worse. Sunday afternoon was hours.
Cell phone mechanics don't realize the response time, and the places without cell coverage in lower 48.
Just in southern WI 50 miles from Milwaukee you can cell issues

I replaced the 2 piece clutch cable with the old fashioned cable used on a '16 Road King. The 2 piece cable was routed through the headlight nacelle and held by a clip so it couldn't just be pulled out. That required removal of the nacelle for access, my tool kit isn't big enough for all the stuff needed for that. I have no knowledge of what is required to "untangle" the top half of the cable from a fairing bike but if that requires more tools than in a normal tool kit, then it isn't a road side job either. The factory cable on my 08 Road King gave me 108,000 miles of trouble free service (still worked like new when that bike trades in on a '23 FLHP). Not paranoid enough to carry a spare cable. The adjuster on the 2 piece cable seems to be a weak point, not the cable itself. That after market metal replacement seems to be the way to go.
