How did the handlebar swap go? I've done a couple on Rushmore bikes now, much easier than the older ones.

FWIW, I did buy an extended brake line from them, and was disappointed.

It's just barely long enough,
the banjo fitting is smaller than oem,
the threaded end of the line was painted and required cleaning before it would thread and seal,
the flexible brake line itself is quite small diameter.

In the end, yes, it does work. It has not given me any troubles once I got it installed and sealed. But next time, I'd probably just go oem instead.

I have installed six sets of bars now.

For me it is very clear.

Namz wire harness. Do not add extension, the complete harness is less than $60 bucks and is plug and play for what ever length you need. Much cleaner, less connection points. You can leave the stock wiring in place in the old bars. You are not pulling out the old wiring and pulling it back through the new bars. Less chance for damage.

As for clutch and brake cables / lines you’ll be hard pressed to find a higher quality than Magnum Shielding. I bought mine through my local HD dealership at a competitive price. There are several dealers for them, plus you can order direct.

If you are going to do it, do it right.

Best of luck.

I have ordered 3 different kits from them, they are pretty good. I did get a wrong clutch cable with the last kit, sent them an email and they sent me the replacement that day and prepaid shipping for the wrong cable. I would use them again. Great customer service.
