If you have this battery, what do you think of it?
I was looking at this battery to replace the AGM in my SGS, but all of the bad reviews are pushing me away. Looking at the HD branded lithium shows the same bad reviews. These batteries are showing not just a few bad reviews, but a very large number of them.
As much as I love NoCo chargers, I have not seen much good about the battery in the way of reviews.
I love my Lithium, and doubt I will go back to AGM. I am on 4 years with mine, and have started the bike below 30 degrees in northern Canada, and Montana after sitting overnight.
I have the X2 from Batteries Plus, but there are now quite a few that I would choose on the market.
Advanblack has a new one they are distributing, too.
Also consider Antigravity batteries. I have one in my Sporty going on about 4 years now and fires up like new. Many battery tenders now do both AGM and lithium but be sure it says for lithium at least if you do decide to get one.
I've got the Antigravity battery in my '14 Limited. It's 880 cca and really spins the motor over fast. I've had it a little over 2 yrs and no problems at all.
I love lithium batteries in power tools and for solar power banks. Uses that see a lot of charging/discharging cycles.
I don't see an advantage to them over AGM batteries in a vehicle that just needs a battery to start it.
I have had one in my 2017 Road Glide for a year or so now and I have no complaints. It is so light I thought the box it came in was empty. I keep mine hooked up to a NoCo charger when I am not riding and it fires up every time.
The only thing I might not like about it is the terminal screws are a little short. I had to get some longer ones to attach all my stuff to, but that's just being nit picky.
