Have a 2013 Ultra with cams, header dyno tuned runs really good but It needs a compensator. Was thinking about the Baker 30 tooth. Any one have one? I’m mostly a back road rider if I’m on the highways I’m at or under 70mph.
30 tooth at 70 will give revs for about 85-90. I had one for a bit, removed it because of those high rpms at highway speeds. Around town, it was a blast.
I believe that will disable your cruise control unless you can find someone who can do some magic with a very capable turner.
hmmmm not sure. It’s a 2013 bike and I think the 30 tooth may cause the speedometer to be off but wouldn’t the cruise still work, just not holding at the true accurate speed?

The cruise won't work because rpm doesn't match what ground speed should be. It's not hard to change if you have a Power Vision tuner. Lots of info here about it.

That smaller front engine sprocket will affect the gear ratios in your tune and the cruise will not work. The ECM looks for certain values to activate the cruise control that will no longer exist. You will need someone with a tuner to change the values in the Gear Ratio Table within your tune.
I changed the front OEM 34 tooth sprocket on my '16 Ultra Classic to a solid 32 tooth engine sprocket. I have a PowerVision tuner from FuelMoto. I contacted them and they sent me the new gear ratios for my situation. I changed the ratios in my Gear Ratio Table and all started working as before the gear change...
Here is what I had to do, YOUR NUMBERS WILL BE DIFFERENT... This is just for an example:
