yes, wider friction zone. Thst being said I got used to the hydraulic on my 14 Limited 113,000 miles ago, I love the cable on my 22 also. 22 cable has a lighter pull.

My '24 is a two some times three finger clutch. ymmv Even with bending the upper cable to fit the tall boy bars. Every bike I have owned in the last 50+ years gets the clutch lever cut so I don't crush my other fingers.

I would agree, clutch pull is lighter with the cable clutch on my 22 Road King than hydraulic on my 20 Street Glide

My 2019 M8 hydraulic clutch was much tighter than my 2008 TC cable clutch.

I put in a Rekluse slave cylinder and it made a tremendous difference. Now they are about equal.

The aftermarket slaves make all the difference. I have found mine to be lighter and smoother than the cable, and no “click” in the pull like my buddy’s 2022 RG

It is unfortunate that Harley could not glean what they should have from the aftermarket and made the system work

This is a picture of the clutch pull on my Muller slave equipped 2019 SGS. 13.5 pound pull.

This is my 2022 Heritage, cable clutch, equipped with a Muller power clutch. 12.5 pound pull.

Not much difference, I can't even feel it.
