Default Touch up paint

I put a small dink in my gas tank this morning. I looked
at the HD site and only found Frame Black. Where is
a good source for touch up paint?

Check with your dealer. I recently bought some vivid black, and it comes with a bottle of clear coat. Do a forum search on touch up paint for some great suggestions.

One word of caution. I had already bought the paint, just in case. Sure enough, found a scratch. I was not happy, and in a rush, touched it up. It is hard to notice, but in the rush, I did a **** job. Take your time with it. Being on the tank, it will be more obvious if you do a crappy job.

if you buy the bottle with brush, you will get better results using a nail to let a drop of paint pull itself into a chip. let it dry for several days then come back and polish out.

Using the bottom of a matchstick (not the wood type) from a matchbook work very well as opposed to a brush for very small chips. Do a little and come back again. Be very patient.

Yep. I should have used something other than the brush. I have small brush marks. [:@]
