Default Tab Performance Slip-on

Hey there, I'm going to be getting Tab Performance 4.5" B.A.M Sticks and was wondering if anyone has them and is the Zombie Baffles too loud to listen to music and a passenger, or should I go with the 2.5" louvered Core Baffles? Thanks for your input. Bye the way they are going on a 2009 Street Glide with a stage 1. Thanks.

I had them on the SG. The sound is behind you, and on the highway where the RPM is higher, even more so. I had more trouble with the wind drowning out the stereo, than the pipes. Passenger never complained, but I can ask her later.

Default Tab zombies

They are loud, but not too bad just cruising. When you jump on it, they become ignorant. I’m looking for a chrome set, if you don’t like yours and they are chrome, shoot me a message

I have the 4.5 BAM sticks with the zombie baffles on my 23 road king. For me, I couldn't ride the bike without earplugs because the exhaust is very loud (meaning painful) when cruising, and even more so when you are on the gas. I am also wearing a full face helmet.

With my earplugs in, the exhaust is very tolerable and I love the rumble. However, I do not recommend the zombie baffles in your case.

I had them in my Road Glide. Sounded great, but on a long time the sound gave the wife a headache. I ordered the 2.5 baffles and just replaced the right side and it's about perfect.

I have the milwaukee-eight, I have heard the twin cams are louder. You should be fine with the stage 1, if not the 2.5 baffles are cheap enough. if you put in a cam it gets extremely loud! That's when the 2.5 louvered baffle is a good choice. I have a 107 with the Tab performance 2 into 2 header with the 4.5 zombie baffles. SE Torque cam and it's loud!

I originally had Cobra Neighbor Haters, but wanted something with a little more volume to it. I got the 50 Cal’s with the zombie baffles and was a bit concerned that I was going down a rabbit hole and would have to add an amp and replace speakers, but the tone of the Tabs is so deep I can actually hear the stereo better than with the cobras. The Tabs are definitely louder when you get on the throttle, but they mellow out when cruising .

I found, that with full face helmet, the exhaust sound is even louder than with open face. I don't know if it's my X14 Shoe or what, but when I switched to FF helmet, my ears started to ring from the exhaust sound. It's as if the sound bounces around the helmet. On very hot days, when I ride with my open face, it is so much easier on my ears.
