On long rides, I wear ear plugs and a FF. On short rides (anything under 200mi), I do not. The 2-1 I currently have is loud, but the sound is still behind me. It's much louder than the TAB I had before. Maybe I broke my ears, because I really did not hear them much on the highway, just in traffic. Riding behind someone with them, not that's a different story. They are loud.

Did not like the zombies. Very loud and a little to much for me. This coming from a drag pipe guy from the past.

I have the 50Cal with Zombie Tabs...love them. I was hesitant at first going from Rineharts on my Twin Cam but when i bought my new RG, i tried them and they are loud, and throaty...and HUGE. Love them so far.

Hey! I’ve looked into the Tab Performance B.A.M. Sticks quite a bit, and from what I’ve heard (and experienced), the Zombie Baffles are definitely on the loud side, some say they sound amazing at idle and when you’re rolling solo, but they can drown out music and make it harder for a passenger to enjoy the ride, especially on longer trips. That said, if you're still shopping around, I’d seriously recommend checking out Boneshakers. I’ve been running their exhaust on my setup, and they strike a killer balance between deep, aggressive tone and rideability. They’re loud enough to turn heads but not obnoxious and I can still hear my tunes and have a convo with a passenger without shouting.

I started with the Zombies and went to the 2.5's. 2.5's still have the great sound without the obnoxious loud and droning after riding 500+ miles days. I found the 2.5's to be a good balance of loudness and sound.

I put tabs with zombie baffles on my wife's heritage. She really likes them, after I took it out a couple of times, I have to say, I don't like them much, they just seem loud to me with no tone, like my reinharts have. I'm trying to talk her into trying the louvered baffles to see if that takes it down some.

Opinions vary widely, but I have them on my '24 RG and like them. I don't consider them overpowering.
