That one wouldn't work in my bike, so I put it in my car. It's odd that it works for some people and not others.
Autosky wouldnt work on my previous bike either (2021 Ultra Limited with GTS & WHIM) so I havent even tried it in my 2023 UL. It worked in my car but every other time I started the car Id have to re-pair it. (2020 Ford with SYNC 3)
Have you updated the firmware on the autosky? Presume you have a microphone or jumper attached?
I did last year when I purchased it, and I just took it out of my car to check for updates. It turns out that I returned the Autosky and bought the FitAlly which didn't work in my bike either. So anyway, I just did a firmware update on it and now it works on my bike too. I'll be using it since it about the same size as a thumb drive, and I'll put this otto cast in my car.
I had AutoSky WUA-1 first. They sent me USB Box WCPAA-1 to replace. Was better but still have problems. Have to re-pair in the middle of a ride. PIA!
Wonder if the newer WUA-2 is better?
I dont have the whim either, so I installed the $13 CarPlay jumper and Autosky today and it works like a champ!
I suggest you update the autosky firmware. The instructions how to do that come with it. Basically (if memory serves), with the autosky plugged in and your phone connected to it, you browse to the IP address that is in the instructions and it will update if there's a new version available.

Appreciate the tip! That was the first thing I did when I plugged it in…once I remembered to disconnect my phone from the home WiFi.
Been running the CPLAY2air since it came out. Have one on my SG and one in my F150. Occasional minor issues w/ iOS software upgrades but overall has been a positive experience.
