I had ramps shipped to inlaws so he can bring golf cart.
Golf cart is not a light machine for sure.

Thursday, we set ramps up on a bone stock 2019 Ram 4x4 truck.
As wheels only went on outer ramps (each 14" outer ramp rated @ 1000 lbs each). It went down maybe 1" compared to center ramp (19" rated @ 2000lbs). As center had no weight and we did not pin them together.

These ratings, are of course, lower @ 12' compared to the shorter ramps.

I could have done 10' easily and safely but I wanted the least amount of angle for increased safety as well as ease of use.

I did call and talk to the Black Widow sales guy and got the 12' set up for about the 8' price when I started in with the Veteran and old man thang ($250 off).😂
I generally get same kind of discounts anytime I get on the phone and ALWAYS works with JP Cycle!

I just bought a Rampage for my Road King. Haven't installed it yet.Think I'm going to like the fact that I can load my bike by myself. I don't usually have anyone around to help me.

My trailer pulled perfectly with not a sign of trouble for 150 miles. Then, I stopped for gas and during the walk around, saw the rim was black with evidence.
I had plenty of tools and pulled to a parts house close by only to find it was already into the axle!
But, I do now (on this trailer) have the good end of that axle attached to the side of the trailer with hub, wheel and all for spare everything. Just hope I never get down to an axle again.
I did pull other 3 hubs just to inspect and no issues with plenty of grease in all others, so thinking just had a failure... So had to replace complete axle.
Got hot enough to burn into white painted wheels.

Loaded my first load on the new rampless trailer to take to the storage shed, Came back and loaded bike up and put in garage.
Now I have a lift table now to.
Loading was a breeze.

That is a very nice trailer and the size makes it even nicer! 👍

For every “ramp fail” video on YouTube I wouldn’t be surprised if there were dozens, if not hundreds, of people that have done it successfully with the right equipment, proper skills, & correct technique, but no one posts compilations of ramp success videos. (f they were even recorded in the first place) As I mentioned before, there are common mistakes in virtually all of those fail videos.

After agonizing for a long time I bought this ramp for my FLH. 1500lb capacity. 10ft long. Plenty long enough. Plenty wide enough. Fits perfectly in my Sierra extended cab rear seat area so I don't worry about it getting stolen overnight in hotel lot

https://www.blackwidowpro.com/motorc...th/p/mf-12038/

Looking at the fail videos is easy to see where they go wrong. Rear truck wheels not in low spot, O thought etc. Just because they do it wrong is no good reason to condemn those who do it right. It is apparent to me that, like many things on the internet, those condemning do not know what they are talking about.

We have to load and unload bikes from truck beds at the shop ocassionally. Being able to back the vehicle wheels into a dip/ditch or backed to a hill levels out the ramp and makes it so much easier. We have an adjustable ramp but it's faster and easier to use the back up method .We ALWAYS have a spotter or two.
