For myself when replacing the fob battery I have done in the house away from the bike out in the shop.
I'll be 50 to 75 feet away from the bike. Have had this Ultra since 2016.
Battery's get replaced annually (2of them) between Christmas and New years.
Seems there are extra battery's around (2032's ) just because.

Good Luck WP
not the FOB battery but the bike battery... maybe i have mis worded idk
If you have no siren it makes no difference. Fob, no fob, go change your battery already. Why you waiting around for this bunch of knuckleheads to give you confirmation?

with no siren, it is not necessary to disable the security. but it is a good practice to get into. if you ever put a siren on, and go by habit and just disconnect the battery, the internal battery in the siren will supply power and the siren is very loud in the garage.

no, don't do that. it isn't necessary. it is not a standard 9v battery, and if you buy it from the dealer, is over $50. it's rechargeable and can go many years without needing to be changed, i've had mine for over 5 years now. let the bike tell you when necessary.

Id probably disable the alarm before paying that much. Someone recommended this battery on another thread so giving it a try.
