Default Klock Werks Windshield

So I went on my first long ride yesterday since I got this bike and everything is great but I do get a bit of wind buffering at higher speeds. I have a 5" klock werks and my need a 6.5". I love the look of the current one but not sure what size I really need to go with, I'm 6'4" but longer in the legs, lower seat (CVO seat).

I looked at the klock werks website and I'm wondering if my bars will hit the windshield the way it comes back. I have nowhere close to try out any other sizes or brands.

my hd dealer keeps Klock Werks in stock, they should have the taller versions to try right there if your's carries em too

there are some out there that are as good quality, but I think those Klock Werks shields are nice looking shields, i'm waiting for them to come out with a version for the new batwing fairing

This is an 8.5" Klockwerks and 14" Factory 47 bars. It rubbed and rattled. I finally grew tired of it and replaced it.

You're a big boy and that's a short windshield. You might want to watch this Youtube video from Klock Werks.

I did watch that video and tried the measurements by myself but need another person. But judging by what I did It looks like i need to go taller. Worries about it hitting my bars and of course the look of it. I dont like the really tall ones.

So the windshield was hitting your bars? Mine are pushed ahead as far as they go too. Need the length.

It's a bit hard to see, but where the windshield curls back over the pointed top of the bars it made light contact, rubbed and rattled. It actually rubbed through the powdercoat.

Yeah i dont want that to happen, and my bars are taller than yours, and in the pic ypu can see how close they are to the fairing.

After the KW, I had an LRS for a couple years, now I have a Memphis Shades. It's my favorite of the 3. Here's a crappy garage shot.

And another out in the sun
