I found one of the last pieces to complete my "skull" ultra. I have painted the skull on the helmet and left the "Harley Davidson" surrounding the skull black.
Do you think I should also paint the letters silver or leave the skull the only Silver piece?
For those who don't know, this helmet was out about two seasons ago. My dealer was able to find me a brand new one out of state. The whole helmet including the skull was black. I however, had a vision to paint it silver and it came out exactly as I wanted.
Again, skull only silver or go silver with the Harley Davidson around the skull too?
I'd do the letters to, but that is me. I have one on myfairing, the back of my saddlebags and tour pak lid. I think they look super. You did a super job redoing the helmet.
I would leave only the skull silver. That being said, a size medium helmet? Wow. You have a small nogin. LOL. I seldom wear my XXL helmet, but with all the recent posts about downed riders, I am rethinking the 'seldom' part. I live in NM and we just lost a LEO that was riding the motorcade when president Bush visited a couple of days ago. It appears to be a freak thing. No one has said for sure why he crashed??
