classic vs police
I have a friend looking at 06 roadkings. It seems the police versions (88 cubes) are pretty much the cheapest. for ex. an 06 police black with just over 5500 miles for $12995 at a dealer. dealer has three more,black and white, between 11 and 15k miles, excellent conditionfor same price. just wondering if police bikes were less desirable for some reason.

police bikes are cheaper to the dealer as the Moco has written some of the cost off. Leases here are almost no cost to the departments. with H-D taking the hit. Jan 2002 i paid $15,750 for my 2001 FLHPI with 9 miles, sinister blue/diamond ice. dealer was getting over $20K for FLHRs at the time.
