Sidecars are great lots of info on the web. I don;t know where you live but Virginia Motor Vehicle has sidecar classes with their motorcycle safety program. They include bike and sidecar and its a fun class. I would not buy a harley sidecar just because its overpriced. I would highly recommend a LIberty Sidecar, www.libertysidecars.com

They are well made and have a classic look...good luck

I think Liberty sidecars have a classic look that should be considered, but I found the HD standard TLE wasn't much higher in cost with the same options. There are a number of interesting designs used on motorcycles today, and some probably resemble small cars, rather than an open cockpit. Hannigan makes a number of interesting models for all types of motorcycles, but after looking at it until I was cross eyed, I decided to just get a full Harley rig.

I have a Motorvation sidecar (called a Spyder), no chassis (frame is built in). separate brake, HD fender, lockable trunk (can by fitted as a gas tank), custom painted to match bike. About 2K less expensive than HD.

Hack

Rode one once and what really impressed me was that I didn't have to put my feet down when I stopped
