In October of 2022 I bought one of these, and used it quite a bit on several trips. I really like it, far more than a tour pack. Most recently, I hit the road on a 3 week trip from Vegas to Key West and back. Somewhere along the way the Rickrak mount cracked, and the suitcase developed a minor split at a seam. This split was likely caused by the break in the rack itself. This didn't cause any issues and still worked just fine and got me home, but I didn't want to use it again and push my luck. I went to their website and learned that my warranty was for one year, so it was long expired. I decided to give them a call, explain the issue, and see about the possibility purchasing a new one at a discount.
To my surprise, they offered to send me another full setup for the cost of shipping in spite of being out of warranty. How often does that happen in todays world of tiny margins in retail and manufacturing?
It arrived today, and I can see that the mount has been updated and is much more robust.
I have been to their shop - nice folks. They have some very nice custom parts and lights. I have seen several bikes they have done and they were awesome.
I have the OEM style rack that sits behind the pillion. But you appear to have a solo set up. May I ask, what rack is that you have? I ride solo 99.783% of the time, and never travel with a passenger. My wife rides her own, so I just act like the pack mule.
I can attest to their service and great quality parts. I have two rack set ups, one for my luggage rack and one for my tour pack. I have also purchased a bunch of other products from them as well and they are awesome! I highly recommend this company.

This thread, and further more, your recommendation, has them on my radar. I like the idea of a modular bag that be installed and removed on the road without a tour pak I will seldom use. Just looking for info on that solo rack.
I just realized, the solo rack is moot point on my bike. Never mind. I'll just look at the Rickrak kit that has been posted. My seat...
