Long story super short, I replaced a Heavy Breather with a round style intake and don't have the throttle support bracket. Can I ride like this in the meantime or should I leave it parked while I order one?
It depends on how lucky you feel. It may be fine, or you may hit the air breather with your leg hard enough to cause an intake leak, or hit a bump hard enough to cause an intake leak, etc., etc.
I remember a good friend who did away with the carburetor support on his Shovel ( Didn't like the look ) the carb fell off crossing a railroad track ... There was the carb hanging by the throttle cable ... Duct tape and safety wire do wonders in Bumfu˘k Egypt
I have a throttle support off my 14 RK. I went with screaming eagle heads and didn't need the support. I am assuming it is the black piece that goes between the throttle body and heads.
