Default Handle bar question

Just got back from the dealer with a new set of handle bars for the scoot. Now get ready to laugh out loud. There are black inserts in the ends of the new handle bars. do those stay or are they to keep them for getting buggered? I know stupid question, but I dont want to get the Road Glide back together and THEN find out they needed to be removed.

Come on guys. this one can't be that hard. I am trying to get the bike back together before the am so I can make the 250 mile trek to Charleston tomorrow. I don't want to have to do it twice. Thanks!

Thanks. I put the bars on with the plugs in for a test fit and the throttle would not return. took the plugs out and all is well in simcom world. bars are on with a new set of ISO grips w/throttle boss.
