I own a 2020 Road Glide, no issues. Most major issues had been resolved by 2020 model year (sumping, transmission fluid transfer). Some will say the intake manifold flange or whatever being plastic is a problem (most cars and bikes have some plastic parts), but generally I think you'll find it to be a solid bike.
I’m going to look at a 2020 RK standard.
It has a DynoJet tuner, after market pipes, & air cleaner.
3500 miles
Not even broken in yet. That's a forever bike right there. You got the tuner already so you're primed to drop a cam in it and wake it when you're ready
I know nothing about the M8 or late model HD’s
What should I be looking out for?
Any known issues with this model ?
Hours of enjoyment and jealousy from SG & RG owners when they realize he who rides the KING wears the crown. A lack of electronic issues that cause inop audio and no start problems? Sumping on the early M8s has been blown way out of proportion and was corrected prior to 2020 anyways. The M8 is pretty trouble free actually. What they suffer from the most is people on forums and elsewhere that know just enough to be dangerous to themselves and others. Providing you get a good deal on the price I say go for it. What color?
if I'm not mistaking I think MSRP on a 2020 FLHR was $19,500

As mentioned already, most of the early model year issues have been worked out. I rented a 2020 for a weekend when I was in SoCal a couple years ago. It had the 114ci motor and that was a sweet ride compared to my '13 King. You'll definitely like the new style bags and some of the features on the speedo. I liked the bags so much I upgraded those on my King.
