I'm looking into getting a Streetglide in the next month or two. I currently have an 05 Road King w/ many upgrades. My question is for any of you out there that have traded their bikes back into your Harley dealer. How much can I expect to get for my bike? I understand that the upgrades won't help much but I was just interested in what I can expect. Thanks!

Yes I do, about 11,500 to 12000. I know don't blame me I'm just the messenger. Take the upgrades off and sell them on ebay or sell the bike yourself.
I know how you feel, I was lloking to trade my 05 nighttrain in but I put it on ebay and in less than a week I got a call from a local guy who wanted to buy it. Took some of the parts off and we worked out a deal. I now have my streetglide.
my buddy just made this exact trade..his bike had 9k miles..extremely clean...chromed out..he made the mistake of not taking off all the chrome accesories before going to the stealer...he got $13,200 on trade....
I got 12,500 for my 95" stage IV FXDWG3 which was kbb trade in , they subsequently sold it for 15,500. I"m very happy with my FLHX , it was the last Cobalt Blue one they had.
I just went through this. I have ordered an '08 Ultra, and had an '05 Ultra to trade in. They offered "around elevent-five - maybe a little better". I put it on Craigs List at $14,500 and sold it within one day. I'm three grand better off, and it's nice to know that the buyer, who was a nice bloke, also got a pretty good deal.
Good luck - the FLHX is a mighty fine scoot. Decided on color yet?
