Congratulations! You've just made me change my order for the THIRD time! Call me indecisive... I originally had a Pacific Blue/Black 08 Ultra ordered, and changed it when I went into the dealership and saw a Crimson Sunglo Street Glide on the floor. Now that I have seen your bike, I changed my order today for the Crimson/Candy color combo you've got.
Thanks for the pic - it's sitting safely on my computer's hard disk so I can ogle over it a a lot more times while I wait the two months for mine to arrive. If you have any more pics, don't be too modest to post 'em!!
Aw, by the way, congrats on a superb looking scoot. Many fine rides to you.

About the only downside on the new bike is that the underside is different and I'm having a tough time finding a good location for my Guardian Bell to keep away the evil road spirits

Congratulations on the new ride. Sweet color. I've been reading all the posts on these new 08's with great interest as I'm thinking about moving up to the Ultra Classic myself. Thought I wanted a black one but saw this color at the local dealers and now have to re-think my choice of colors. With all the negative stuff posted on the 07's I was thinking I would just keep my 03. Maybe there is still hope. On a side note for what it's worth my 03 isn't exactly cool riding when temperatures are in the upper 80's and 90's. It's pretty hot as well and I've never complained.

Congratulations I sure like mine.. I have 1800 miles on it now and like it more all the time I added the quick disconnect to the tour-pak last week.. I had ridden an 03' ultra for 40,000 miles with the tour-pak onand was really hesitant to add it . I really like the feel and ride without the TP . it is like having two bikes.. I also added the heat shields and they really help. sorry about the bright plate It is raining outsidesoI had to use the flash....
Begging for a Fastaire tinted windshield, some highway pegs, some Soos floorboard extensions, some shorty antennaes, and some Hogtune speakers.
some Kury ISO grips, and associated foot brake pedal chrome and you got the start of something really nice there!!
Oh!! how about a Fuel Moto or other power package or ThunderMax or something to richen it up/cool it down, add some sweet sounding pipes and extend the rmp power band?
Cheer up! Only a few more $K to go!!
Beautiful ride though.. keep us posted as you "make it yours".
How does the new seat feel. I sat on one at the stealer and it felt much better than my stock one. It gives the tail bone some space and thats what always starts getting sore first for me.
