Thanks for the quick response. Well hell then, what the sense of changing the shocks? I am not complaining of the ride I get now, but I thought if I can find something to get rid of the corner wobbles at a less price I will take it...
Used Progressive 440 HD 13" on of my 2006 Street Glide. I really like it and it has made a great difference. Got them on e-bay at the best price I could find.
I have no wobbles with my '07 bagger . I did have on my '02 E-glide Classic , and installed new 440's, a True-Trak system, but the biggest improvement was probably the switch to Metzeler ME 880's front & back . I have considered another set of 440's for this bike, but was hoping for some feedback on something alittle less pricey ......?
have a streetglide with 12 inch shocks from works performance, a sundowner seat modified by alan at mean city cycles(a sponsor on this site) and the bike rides like a cadillac. best money i have ever spent on a bike
I run the same setup. Throw in an adjustable backrest and your set.
Well hell then, what the sense of changing the shocks?
If they are working for you then there is no reason in changing them. How 'bout trying a device like True-Track first, then decide if new shocks are in order?
Again........ I have no wobbles with my '07 bagger .---asking about shocks ! I had a True -Trac on my '02 and I would only "maybe " buy one again as a very last resort { pricey & really didn't solve much on the '02 } as stated above . The question was regarding rear shocks ........[sm=dontgetit.gif]
