Won't start
Riding 2013 Roadking check engine and battery light come on...so I go directly home made it. I figured it was my battery it was 4 yrs old so put a new battery in now it won't start...fuel pump comes on lights on cranks and sounds like it wants to start but wont????

What made you think it was the battery and not charging system? Granted batteries are more common.
Will it start with a jump pack?
I am not really sure if you need to charge them or not these days, but can't hurt.

He had a battery light. But should check codes too. He also rode it home. Not that it can't be something that was intermittent and finally failed. But since battery light, I would probably start with battery and charging system.
I would put a jump pack on it. If it doesn't start, look at other stuff. Or simply put on tender over night.

Some are busy. Evidtenly he doesn't have to much time on his hands, since it was his first post. Hopefully he tell us the problem, maybe help someone,
