I went with the RoadTech Quest, which is the same as the Garmin Quest. The Quest's downside is that is does not have enough memory to come pre loaded with a complete map of the US.However, it does come with a CD with a complete map of the US so one candownload the maps they need for a trip and it is only $500.The Quest II does come pre loaded with a compete US map for $850. You can also get a car mount for the Quest which Idid purchase.

Although the RoadTech Quest does not come pre-loaded,once you load theUS map CD (theQuest II comes with a US map CD too)it comes withontoa PC or laptop, itgivesyou alot of flexibility. What I like is that I cancreate customizedroutes and identify my own waypointson my laptop and then download them tothe Quest. Of course you can do this with a Quest II, but with a complete map of the US you might not feel inclined to do so. The problem is,the Garmin software will always get you to where you want to go, but it may not necessarily take youthe way you want to go (I also have two c330's). For example, if someone tells you about a great road with spectacular vistas, you may not be able to get the Garmin to take you there without finding it on a map first and drawing a route. I like interesting routes andhave created and stored several routes to my Quest that the Garmin software would never normallyrecommend.

As far as touch screen technology goes, I have two c330's with touch screen technology. To me it does not make much of a difference if the menu buttons are on the screen or on the unit itself.

Also note that most of the high-end GPS's units mentioned elsewhere in this thread come with map CD'sthat give you this type of flexibility, but generally they are more that $500.

I had the Road Tech Conquest GPS on my Deuce. I just traded in the bike and plan on putting it on my new Softail Custom. I bought the optional kit that allows me to use it in my truck as well. I'm very happy with it's capabilities.

I also have a Garmin 2720, i have used it on the bike and in many vehicles including packing it to take on business trips for the rental car. I love the Gadget, and it works awsome on the bike with some RAM mounts. Although I purchased a hard wire kit for it because my Ciggy lighter socket seemed to not want to run the damn thing.
